Office Lunch

I'm trying to get better about bringing my lunch to work each day. A couple of days a week I'll end up leaving for the office sans lunch and will pick up something tasty near our space, usually falafel or a mix of things from the farmers market, but I'm working on cooking and packing ahead. It's more fun and certainly saves money. (Though, let's get real here, I'll still be picking up mid-afternoon snacks at the farmers market.)

Yesterday I roasted baby bok choy -- with chopped garlic, salt + pepper, and some fresh lemon -- and enjoyed it on a bed of herb-y quinoa. A nice early-afternoon meal at the office, followed by some yogurt and an apple a bit later. Yum.

While in London, my sister and I spent an afternoon roaming around Borough Market, tasting cheeses and veggies (or veg, as they call 'em in England) and picking up fixings for dinner.

This market rocks. Case in point: There's a Raclette vendor. Also, those meringues are the size of your face. We enjoyed a raspberry one.

PS - I love the dude photobombing that last shot. Kudos, good sir.
